What about the PulseAudio controls panels?
I know they have to be installed separately at the moment, but chances are they will be integrated by the next beta.

My current install of Gutsy takes about 4GB of HD for general internet/email machine. That’s just system and program files. The installer suggests at least 2gb just for the swap file. Unless you’re completely against upgrading the HD (online parts recyclers can have them as low as $1/GB), you’ll probably want to look at small install distro. You might start by clicking around distrowatch.com

It don’t look much different from Gutsy Gibbons.
To be honest it looks almost exactly as Gutsy ^_^
Im all hyped up til Ubuntu Hardy Heron final comes out.

Yaa ROSS, i agree with cWj, it is a good idea to get a new harddrive. But don’t do like me and put a 15 GB swap file :S

KDE people are galloping away with with upcoming KDE4 and we are stuck with same old interface!!

If something is good, it will not remain good forever. CHANGE is the truth of life. Cmmon guys, show some creativity.

I took reverse turn from PCLinuxOS to Gutsy 7.10 coz of AptonCD. I really like the ease and community help of Ubuntu forums. But for regaining more lost eyeball, Ubuntu people have to upgrade the look and feel of its default desktop.
