PhoroLinux

Cankiri is a screen recorder for Linux. With Cankiri, you can record your Linux desktop and share with friends. Cankiri is a quite little application. It only has a single file.

1. Download Cankiri:

$ wget http://www.tortall.net/svn/mu/trunk/cankiri/cankiri.py

2. Run Cankiri:

$ python cankiri.py

Note: You need GStreamer 0.10 and PyGTK 2.8.

3. After launch Cankiri, Cankiri will prompt you to begin recording.

4. To stop recording, click the icon on notification area.
