Mount ISO Image File (.ISO) with Gmount-iso

Gmount-iso is a simple graphical program. With Gmount-iso, you can mount/unmount ISO image file (.ISO). Gmount-iso is very easy-to-use. The latest version of Gmount-iso is 0.4. You can download Gmount-iso from here.

Installing Gmount-iso

If you’re using Ubuntu, you can get the deb package. Then run this command in terminal:

$ sudo dpkg -i gmountiso_0.4-0ubuntu2_all.deb

For other Linux user, download the tarball file and execute the following steps:

$ tar zxvf gmountiso_0.4-0ubuntu2.tar.gz
$ cd gmountiso-0.4/
# python Gmount-iso.py

    Thank’s man! Are there going to be any support for .cue or any other image files in future? Like CDemu, http://cdemu.sourceforge.net/ ?

    Gmount-ISO is also available through the software channel in Ubu.

    >>sudo apt-get install gmountiso
