Manage Passwords with MyPasswordSafe

MyPasswordSafe is really a very nice password manager in Linux. It’s not only easy-to-use, but also can maintain compatibility with Password Safe files. With MyPasswordSafe, you can keep your passwords securely encrypted on your computer, generate random passwords, and copy passwords to the clipboard.

To install MyPasswordSafe in Ubuntu, that’s very simple. You only need to execute the following command in terminal:

sudo apt-get install mypasswordsafe

You can also get the latest version of MyPasswordSafe from here.

To run MyPasswordSafe, you can enter this command in your terminal:

MyPasswordSafe

MyPasswordSafe

    This app has the bad notice, that is not 100% compatible with Password Safe, and believe me when i say that, cause to solve that incompatibility i have to run Password Safe in wine mode to access the password file that i have…
