With Referencer, you can manage your collection of documents and a variety of reference files. In addition, you can also generate a BibTeX file through Referencer. Referencer is available for GNOME desktop environment.
Currently, Referencer has the following features:
- Smart web links
- Tagging
- Import from BibTeX, Reference Manager and EndNote
- Automatic arXiv, PubMed and CrossRef metadata retrieval
- Python plugin support, includes: PubMed metadata plugin, LyX plugin, CrossRef plugin, and arXiv plugin
How to install Referencer
The latest version of Referencer is 1.1.0. You can download the deb package at GetDeb.net web site.
Installing Referencer using this command:
sudo dpkg -i referencer_1.1.0-1~getdeb1_i386.deb
If you see error messages, please run:
sudo apt-get -f install
Now you can run Referencer by clicking Applications → Office → Referencer.
