The screenshot with style plugin for the GIMP is cool. With screenshot with style plugin, you can make 3D screenshots in GIMP. It’s very simple and easy.

Installation

1. Get screenshot with style plugin from here.

2. Drop it to ~/.gimp-2.2/scripts folder.

Usage

1. Launch GIMP and open screenshot.

2. Click Xtns → Script-Fu → Screenshot with style menu command.

3. Setting some preferences, or keep default.

4. Click OK button.

    It does not work. I get:

    Error while executing
    (script-fu-screenshot-with-style -1 30 ‘(255 255 255) ‘(230 230 230) 40 20 ‘(0 0 0) 20 800)
    ERROR: Procedural database execution failed:
    (gimp_drawable_get_image -1)

    I think is not a generic script.

    How do you get this to work on screen shots that are 1280×1024? They do not look like the sample one you have posted. I can send you sample of what it look like.

    I’ve hacked this script so that it now works with GIMP 2.4. Also translated the labels to English while I was at it.
