…Can’t get it going on acer aspire 5051 with ATI X1100 (200m) graphics, atheros wifi, realtek HD SB450…
- Live CD: hangs just before desktop
- Tried passing “noapic noacpi splash=0″ to kernel… which does produce a desktop but leaves me with no sound or wifi.
- Restricted Driver Manager reports ath_hal (ath_pci on other distros?) as loaded but not in use.
- Verbose boot shows “Wrong chipset detected. Intel 915 supports Intel 8/9xx series only”
- Strange that non of these problems occur on Ubuntu :-/
