With Launchy, you can quickly launch your programs, documents, project files, folders, and bookmarks with just a few keystrokes!
To install Launchy on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron), you can execute the following steps:
- Installing libqt4-core and libqt4-gui:
sudo apt-get install libqt4-core libqt4-gui - Download deb package of Launchy, and save to your desktop.
- Open you terminal, go to Desktop folder:
cd ~/Desktop - Installing Launchy:
sudo dpkg -i launchy_2.1.1-1_i386.deb - Now you can run Launchy by clicking Applications → Accessories → Launchy.
