Dreamlinux 3.0 Beta 2 Preview

Dreamlinux is a Brazilian distribution based on Debian and Morphix. Recently, the second beta release of Dreamlinux 3.0 has been released. This release includes Linux Kernel 2.6.23, GNOME 2.20.2, Xfce 4.4.2, OpenOffice.org, Gimpshop, Inkscape, Iceweasel, Thunderbird, gFTP, MPlayer, Rhythmbox, Brasero, etc.

    Yay. Another OSX-lookalike. Remind me of the point again? What is this distro doing to differentiate itself from its predecessors? How do I know it will still be around in a year?

    I’m typing this message in Dream Linux 3.0 beta2. Love the distro. It’s very fast, yet pretty. It’s the only distro that made Compiz work right away on my Compaq Presario c700 laptop. Great work. It has come a long way since the previous release.
