MeMaker is a nifty little program. With MeMaker, you can create an avatar of your liking. MeMaker is easy to use, you only need to select face, hair, eyes, mouth, ears and so on. Then MeMaker will automatically place them together. This program is very funny.
To use MeMaker on Ubuntu, you can execute the following steps:
1. Install bzr and python-lxml packages:
sudo apt-get install bzr python-lxml
2. Get the source:
bzr co http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~encompass/memaker/trunk memaker
3. Copy the features folder to .MeMaker folder:
mkdir ~/.MeMaker
cp -r memaker/features/ ~/.MeMaker/
4. Run MeMaker:
cd memaker/src/
python umaker.py
Here’s screenshot of MeMaker.
In addition, you can find a video tutorial from here.
