WinFF is an easy-to-use Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the powerful video converter FFmpeg. With WinFF, you can quickly, easily and batch convert your videos. WinFF supports most any video file, and available for Windows and Linux platform.
Installing WinFF
Currently, the latest version of WinFF is 0.32. All Debian or Ubuntu users can download the deb package of WinFF from here. Then using the following command to install it:
$ sudo dpkg -i winff.032-i386.deb
If you see error messages, you can run this command:
$ sudo apt-get -f install
Using WinFF
- Launch WinFF, you can click Applications → Sound & Video → WinFF. This will open WinFF window.
- Click Add button, select video files you want to convert.
- Select output file type and folder.
- Click Convert.

i use Melodycan It converts different audio & video file formats. Such as wma, wmv, m4v, mov, aac, ra, aa, mp4, snd, aif, m4p, rax, wav, ogg etc. Moreover MelodyCan converts audio books, any format Media Player, any format QuickTime Player, any format Rhapsody or RealPlayer supports. It`s very simple to use. Now I can download YouTube files to my PC with MelodyCan YouTubeRipper. Conversion speed and quality is very good.
